Which Hi-Fi system should I choose?

Traditional Hi-Fi systems usually consist of a stereo amplifier and a sound source in the form of, e.g., a CD player, radio tuner or a streaming player. And of course, a set of speakers of the right design and size. Today, many sound sources are used, among other things. Computers, iPods, phones or streaming solutions, but also the old turntables have been boosted in an otherwise digital age.

Speaker selection

On the speaker side, a lot has also happened since the traditional large wooden floor finishers, which are now often only seen in connection with high-end systems. It has become something more familiar with speakers that do not take up too much space in a sleek design. These systems are usually characterized as a 2.1 system and are the simple solution in relation to a large surround sound system.

Keep in mind, that the size of a speaker means a lot to the sound and not all needs can be solved with a small satellite speaker and a powerful subwoofer.
