Powerlink B&O cables are used between B&O music systems or Beovision TV to an active Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speaker. Powerlink cables contains both link and line signal for right and left channel in one cable, which makes is possible to loop the Powerlink cable from one BeoLab speaker to another, thereby making installation simpler. We also offer special cables for PowerLink, which enables you to connect other non-B&O systems along with Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speakers, for example a Sonos player or likewise.
MasterLink B&O cables are used between two or more B&O devices with Beolink for communication and to transfer both audio and video signals, typically in multi-room/Link-room solutions with only audio. However, it also requires in a combination with and aerial coaxial cable to transfer the analogue video signal along. The MasterLink cables itself only carry the BeoLink and balanced audio signals for both left and right channel. Masterlink in a combination with and aerial coaxial cable to transfer the analogue video signal can eg. be used to control a satellite receiver from the bedroom, which is located in the living room. It could also happen that you had a newer B&O Beovision TV in the living room with internal digital TV tuner which you could then make use of in a bedroom or kitchen with an older B&O Beovision TV without internal digital TV tuner - MasterLink is typical used between an Ouverture or Beosound 3000 music systems to either BeoLab 3500 or Beolab 2000 linkroom speakers.
DataLink B&O cables are the predecessor of the newer MasterLink type and may also be used to transfer control and audio signals between various older B&O devices. This could eg. be between an B&O Beovision MX7000 TV and a B&O BeoSound 2300 audio system.
